What is an Enhanced CD?
An Enhanced CD is an audio disc that may be played on
any CD player, and includes data that may be viewed on a personal computer.
This CD includes an audio recording of Dr. Steiner's Grand Rounds presentation
for the Department of Psychiatry, Alta Bates Hospital, Berkeley, CA.
Interactive Documents: Along
with the helpful and enlightening audio presentation, this Enhanced CD includes the documentation
needed to customize an absence plan for your practice. A clear, informative
guide walks you through the process of putting your plan in place. This
guide helps you decide how your clients and treatment plans should be handled
in the event of a temporary or prolonged absence. The forms may be filled
in on-line or printed and filled in by hand. Included are sample letters
to clients.

- In today's ever-changing world it is difficult to
keep abreast of new requirements and solutions to the challenges that
arise for practicing therapists. This also applies to the Therapist's
Professional Will. Since I first began working in this area there
have been numerous changes I have wanted to let people know about.
Now I have a forum to do precisely that on the Getting
Started, Tips, and Updates page. New suggestions
for protecting client's privacy, addressing changing law and ethics
requirements will be included in this page. So check
back periodically to learn new tips and suggestions that will help
you start and make your Professional Will more current!

FAQs.

"I just installed and read your fine, fine work. It
was incredibly EASY to install and open and is done in a most sensitive and
approachable way. I deeply appreciate the work you put into this and
the contribution you have made for a difficult transition in our work and
profession. CONGRATULATIONS
in every aspect! And thanks for doing this heavy and important work."

"Thanks Ann!
I so appreciate your doing this work and plan to get some St.Lous colleagues
interested. I started working on the Professional Will CD. It
is fantastic. What a great service you are doing. Having the whole thing
spelled out for me, with fields that I can just enter and update, makes it
all seem doable. Thanks so much for doing this work!"
